“I felt very compelled to teach my daughters, my girls, my nieces, my girlfriends’ daughters on how they might prevent breast cancer. And then I thought, ‘what about all the other young girls?’ … It was here that I realized that we had to create a vehicle so that we could teach these girls on how they might be able to prevent breast cancer. And hence, the idea of the Pink Tulip Foundation was born.”
